London City Airport Evacuated After Dozens Experience Breathing Difficulties

London City Airport was evacuated on Friday, October 21, after dozens of passengers complained of breathing difficulties. A fire alarm was triggered in the terminal, according to the airport’s Twitter feed, with the cause of the incident unconfirmed.

According to London Ambulance Service, 26 people were treated at the scene for breathing difficulties, and two were taken to hospital. A statement from London Fire Brigade said: “Two complete sweeps of the airport building were carried out jointly by firefighters and police officers both wearing protective equipment.
