Nor'easter Pounds New Jersey Coast

A strong nor’easter churned off the coast of the east coast of the United States on October 3 that generated coastal flooding and high winds. The storm pounded the coast of New Jersey, which can be seen in this video from Long Beach Island at Barnegat Lighthouse.

Flooding was reported in some areas, but in others the dunes helped protect the shoreline, according to NJ.com. A house was swept away during high tide in Middle Township, which is near the Wildwoods. Moderate to major coastal flooding is expected throughout the weekend in New Jersey.
