Norwegian Ship Picks Up 781 People Rescued in Mediterranean

Eight pregnant women and a number of children were among the 781 people rescued on September 1 by a number of ships patrolling the Mediterranean, the UNHCR said on September 2. The Norwegian ship Siem Pilot picked up the 781 people, who were rescued by an MSF vessel and the Italian Navy.
