Obama Visits New Orleans for Katrina's 10th Anniversary

US President Barack Obama took a look back on what lessons had been learned in the 10 years since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 27.

Part of his trip included a briefing at the Andrew P. Sanchez Community Center with state and local officials about how the coast and New Orleans could be protected, and communities made more resilient. The lessons learned also could be applied to other places in the country that face significant storms, Obama said.
