Opposition Lawmakers Disrupt Parliament Session With Tear Gas

Opposition lawmakers again resorted to releasing tear gas in the Kosovan parliament on November 30, in protest against an agreement on improving relations with Serbia. Over the last three months they have disrupted several sessions of the parliament, Radio Free Europe reported.

This latest protest came two days after Kosovo police arrested Albin Kurti, a prominent leader of the opposition Self-Determination Movement and 85 other members of the party. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
