Parents and Supporters Mark Five Months Since Mexican Students' Disappearance

Thousands marched alongside the parents of 43 missing students in Mexico City on Thursday, February 26, to mark five months since their disappearance. The crowd marched close to Los Pinos, the official residence and office of the Mexican president, and to the Angel of Independence monument on Paseo de la Reforma.

The 43 students went missing after a demonstration in the Guerrero State town of Iguala on September 26, 2014. Mexican investigators have identified the remains of only one of the students. Credit: YouTube/sergitititos sergio
