Pope Francis Calls on Latin America to Unite in Final Mass in Quito

Pope Francis called for unity in Latin America during his final mass in Ecuador and described “the need to work for inclusivity at every level, to avoid forms of selfishness, to build communication and dialogue, to encourage collaboration”. He urged Catholics to carry out "the beautiful challenge of evangelization.”

The pope delivered the remarks during his “Mass for the Evangelization of Peoples” in Quito’s Bicentennial Park (Parque Bicentenario) on Tuesday, July 7. The mass was attended by more than one million people, according to AP.

This video shows the pope traveling to Bicentennial Park along streets lined with people, as well as the full mass.
