Protest in London Ahead of Vote on Syrian Airstrikes

Twenty-four hours before British lawmakers were expected to vote on whether to begin airstrikes against Islamic State in Syria, demonstrators took to Parliament Square in Westminster for an ant-war rally on Tuesday, December 1.

Politicians will spend Wednesday, December 2, debating airstrikes before a nighttime vote is expected to pass the House of Commons. Opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn, Labour party leader, is against airstrikes but is allowing his members vote with their conscience. Credit: Instagram/craig_terron
