Protesters Storm Pakistan State Television

Anti-government protesters in Islamabad entered a state-run television station on September 1 and clashed with riot police on the streets of the city. According to local reports, Pakistan TV was off the air for some time as protesters stormed the building, before being removed by the army. Demonstrators also clashed with police outside Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence.
