Residents Gather Supplies at Fire Evacuation Center

The fire that forced the evacuation of an entire city this week was still growing on Friday, May 6, expanding to 101,000 hectares (250,000 acres) in and around Fort McMurray, Canada. At an evacuation center in Conklin, about 150 km south of Fort McMurray, residents and evacuees gathered supplies, as seen in these videos, and painted signs to alert other evacuees traveling down the nearby highway.
