Russian Fleet Enter Mediterranean Sea on Their Way to Syria

Ten Russian ships passed by the coast of Portugal on their way to Syria on Monday, October 24, according to reports. The fleet was spotted by the Portuguese Air Force, that released video of the ships on the country’s coast on Wednesday.

The ships were monitored by a Portuguese aircraft on Monday. The fleet is navigating towards the Port of Tartus in Syria to strengthen the Russian presence in the country. On Friday, the government of Malta said it won’t allow the ships to be refueled in the island.
