'Sea Hunter' Drone Ship Arrives in San Diego

The US Navy’s Sea Hunter ship was off-loaded from a barge in San Diego on May 1 before traveling to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

This footage shows the vessel arriving in the port of San Diego.

The $23 million Sea Hunter is also known as an ACTUV – an Anti-Submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel. It was built in Portland and is designed to act as an unmanned ship that can spend months at sea without a crew. Credit: DVIDS/Aaron Lebsack for SSC Pacific
