Security Camera Captures Moment Irving Plaza Shooting Erupts
The New York Police released dramatic security footage showing the moment a shooting broke out during a T.I. concert at New York’s Irving Plaza on the evening of Wednesday, May 25. The gunfire resulted in the death of a 33-year-old man. Three other people, including Brooklyn rapper Roland Collins seen firing shots in this video, were injured.
Collins, who goes by the name “Troy Ave”, has been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
The motive for the attack was not immediately clear. The New York Daily News quoted a witness as saying the incident may have been caused by two rival groups associated with rappers Maino, who was performing at the time of the attack, and Troy Ave. Credit: Twitter/NYPDnews
