Smoke From Erskine Fire Spreads Over Nearby Mountain

The Erskine Fire has burned more than 43,000 acres since it started on Thursday, June 23, killing at least two people. Authorities said the wildfire destroyed at least 250 structures and damaging 75 others near the Lake Isabella area in Kern County. Evacuation orders were in place for parts of central California.
