SNP's Mhairi Black Becomes Youngest MP in More Than 300 Years

The Scottish National Party’s Mhairi Black has become the youngest MP since 1667. The 20-year-old was elected for Paisley and Renfrewshire South, a seat that was held by the shadow foreign secretary, Labour’s Douglas Alexander.

Black is due to sit her final exams at Glasgow University, where she studies politics, this summer.
