St Petersburg Vigil Held in Memory of Boris Nemtsov

Dozens of people attended a vigil for slain Russian politician Boris Nemtsov in St Petersburg, on Saturday, February 28. Nemtsov was shot dead in central Moscow on February 27, a short distance from the Kremlin, the official residence of President Vladimir Putin.

Nemtsov, who was co-chair of Russia’s People’s Freedom Party, was reportedly fired upon four times from a passing white vehicle on the Zamoskvoretskiy bridge in central Moscow. This video is described as showing the scene at the vigil in St Petersburg. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
