Suspected Bombing Rocks Istanbul's Beşiktaş District
At least 38 people were injured in at least one explosion near a stadium in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş district after a soccer match on Saturday evening, December 10, according to reports.
Reports said that the blast took place immediately after the match. Daily Sabah quoted Turkey’s interior minister, Süleyman Soylu, as saying, that it was “thought to be a car bomb at a point where our special forces police were located.” News media also said that there would be temporary broadcast ban had been imposed on coverage of the blast.
