Thousands Protest at Funeral for Qatif Bombing Victims

Thousands gathered in central Qatif, in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern province, for a mass funeral on Monday, May 25, three days after a suicide bombing at a Shia mosque. The attack on the Imam Ali mosque, which was claimed by Islamic State, killed 21 Shiite Muslims and is one of the deadliest seen in Saudi Arabia in recent years, according to reports.
