Timelapse Shows Smoke Cloud Billow From Rey Fire

The Rey Fire burned nearly 30,000 acres at the Los Padres National Forest and was 30 percent contained as of Tuesday, August 23. Firefighters working to contain the fire got a helping hand from the weather on Tuesday, as the 50-60 percent humidity helped slow the spread of the blaze, according to National Wildfire Coordinating Group. The County of Santa Barbara warned of heavy smoke in the following few days.
