Trial Shows Promising Results for Ebola Vaccine Candidate
A trial of a vaccine against Ebola has reportedly yielded 100% successful results, and may bring an epidemic of the virus to an end. The results of the trial were published in the Lancet. The trial involved over 4,000 people being given the vaccine, and the analysis of the results found that it “might be highly efficacious and safe in preventing Ebola virus disease”.
