Votes Counted in Ballot Centers Following General Elections

More than 20 million people voted on April 30 in Iraq’s first general elections since US-led military forces withdrew from the country in 2011. Balloting centers around Iraq, like this one in Duhok, are still sorting and counting votes from the general elections. According to Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission, official results won’t be ready for several weeks. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
