Woman Slammed Into Railing by Police During Toulouse Protests
May 26 saw strikes and protests across France against recent labor law reforms that were controversially driven through the National Assembly. It was the eighth day of mass protests against the reforms, which critics say make it easier for employers to lay off staff and threaten the much-cherished 35-hour week.
