Vilakazi: We fear no team

AmaZulu striker Sifiso Vilakazi says his team do not fear Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their crucial PSL encounter at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday evening. Usuthu and the Brazilians find themselves at the wrong end of the table, the former one point above the relegation zone while the latter sits rock-bottom of the standings. Sundowns, did, however, book their place in the Telkom Knockout final this weekend, while the quality in Johan Neeskens' squad is something that cannot be denied, despite their lowly league position. "Playing a big team at this time of the season, given their position, is a bit tricky, but we know we can put them under pressure in Pretoria," Vilakazi told Football411. The former Bidvest Wits front-man admits their task may have been made tougher after the Brazilians advanced to the Ziwa Mo showpiece. He said: "They will not want to lose any games going into the final so they will be confident. We need to focus on our game but we are definitely going there with the mindset to win the game." The two teams met just three weeks ago in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals, with Sundowns running out 2-0 winners, but Vilakazi says this time around things will be different. He added: "I think it was lack of concentration on our side in the last game. The team is coming together and we know that if we can win against Sundowns it will really lift the spirit of the guys in the camp." Vilakazi admits pressure is growing on Usuthu's attacking players to find the back of the net with the Durban based outfit netting just four times this season, the league's lowest scorers. "There is some pressure on the forwards but we will get right. We prepared to work together. We have been hired to score goals and we will do the job," Vilakazi concluded.
