Later in the Vinland Saga trailer, Thorfinn and season two co-lead Einar are seen clasping hands, but eagle-eyed fans will also spot a sneak peek at Thorfinn's new look in a clip that appears to be taken from the final moments of the season.
Thorfinn can be seen with shorter blonde hair, conspicuously missing his season two goatee, and he's also sporting a new, large scar on his left cheek.
This new look is taken directly from the Vinland Saga manga, and marks the start of a new chapter and arc in Thorfinn's story, one that will lead him to the promised land of the show’s title.
