Virginia Lok confirms "Flying Tiger III"
15 Oct – Film producer Virginia Lok recently revealed that Shaw Brothers has plans to produce the third instalment of its hit series, "Flying Tiger".
As reported on Mingpao, Lok, who spoke to the media at the 24th Busan International Film Festival, to celebrate Raymond Lee being awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, stated that the sequel to the series, which is currently being aired in mainland China, has been received well by the audience.
"I have already spoken to [cast member] Raymond Lee that we will be filming the third series early next year," she said.
However, Lok added in jest that both Raymond and co-star Bosco Wong would not be allowed to raise their prices so that they could save some budget for the production value.
"We bombed a speedboat last time. I don't know what will explode this time around, but hopefully it will be more eventful than the last two series," she added.
