The whole arena will become even brighter as Arena of Valor prepares to roll out a game-changing update soon featuring wards.
The planned update has been confirmed by Garena RoV Thailand, giving players a first look at the AoV wards. These wards will automatically spawn near the team’s respective bases and can be placed behind the red buffs and blue buffs on both sides of the map only after the middle lane’s first tower gets taken down.
The ward will open up a field of vision in the forest for a short period of time.

Similar to mobile MOBA game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Arena of Valor originally did have wards. Other mobile MOBAs who have a slightly more complicated map have implemented a ward system where players can actually control its placement. This is true for Super Evil Megacorp’s Vainglory and Riot Games’ upcoming title Wild Rift.
