The first trailer has been released for offbeat animated comedy film "My Entire High School Sinking Into The Sea."

The latest project from acclaimed cartoonist Dash Shaw ("New School"), the film features the voices of Jason Schwartzman, Lena Dunham, Reggie Watts, Maya Rudolph and Susan Sarandon.

The disaster comedy tells the story of Dash (Schwartzman) and his best friend Assaf (Watts) who are preparing for another year at Tides High School working on their widely-distributed but little-read school newspaper, edited by their friend Verti (Maya Rudolph).

But just as a blossoming relationship between Assaf and Verti threatens to destroy the boys' friendship, Dash learns of a school administration cover-up that puts all the students in danger.

When disaster strikes the friends must race to escape through the roof of the school, joined on the way by a popular know-it-all (Dunham) and a lunch lady (Sarandon) who is much more than meets the eye.

"My Entire High School Sinking Into The Sea" will be released in selected theaters April 14.
