Watch: Jessica Chastain in 'The Zookeeper's Wife'
A first trailer has been released for "The Zookeeper's Wife," starring Jessica Chastain as a woman who became a hero during World War II.
Chastain portrays Antonina Żabińska, who, together with her husband, Dr. Jan Żabiński (Johan Heldenbergh), manages the Warsaw Zoo in 1939. When Poland is invaded by the Nazis, they are forced to report to the Reich's new chief zoologist.
The two ultimately join the resistance movement and act out a plan to save lives, putting the lives of Antonina and her children in danger.
The real-life story was the subject of a best-selling book by Diane Ackerman that has been adapted for the upcoming film.
The movie hits theaters in March.
