Watch live: Princess of Wales joins royal family for Remembrance Day Cenotaph ceremony
Remembrance Sunday 2024 is being marked at London’s Cenotaph with its annual wreath-laying ceremony, ahead of a two-minute silence at 11:00 GMT.
Members of the Royal family will join politicians and Commonwealth leaders as they remember those who died serving the country.
Following the silence, 10,000 veterans will conduct a march past down to Parliament Square, back up Horse Guards parade ground, and see a salute at the Guards Memorial.
The Cenotaph service marks one of the Princess of Wales’ first major public outings since completing chemotherapy, after she made her first official appearance at the Royal Albert Hall’s Festival Of Remembrance last night (9 November).
The King, who is still receiving treatment for cancer, will also be in attendance. However, Queen Camilla will remain at home, where she is recovering from a chest infection.
In Belfast, Michelle O’Neill will become the first senior Sinn Féin figure to attend an official Remembrance Sunday ceremony.
