Miley Cyrus had boyfriend Cody Simpson and Riverdale's Lili Reinhart on her Instagram Live show Bright Minded today to talk about writing poetry during quarantine. Both read love poems on the show, and Simpson's got Cyrus particularly flustered because it was about her—and it was intense.

The singer asked Simpson, whose poetry book Prince Neptune comes out next week, to read the love poem he wrote specifically about her, his girlfriend of six months. It was a lot.

As Simpson prepared to read, Cyrus told him, "Did you see where Lili was reading her poetry, and I got all weird because I'm not good with mush?"

"Yeah, well, you're going to get even weirder now," Simpson warned. "Guys, so basically I've got one of the poems in this book is about Miley. I'm going to read it for you right now. All right. It goes: In the ancient night, she flies once more—"

Then Cyrus started having tech issues. "Oh god, oh god, sorry. I'm not distracting. Okay, go, go!" she said with a big smile.

"Okay, all right. In the ancient night, she flies once more back to her home in the stars. I try to chase her there but fall short because I cannot breathe up that high in the radiant heavens where she lingers. I can only admire her from below, humble, starry-eyed poet with the desire for that which is most beautiful. And she is most beautiful. All other—"

"BABE!" Cyrus interjected, flustered.

"—sleep in winter forests, but she is the one who swims in the sun and doesn't burn up."

"BAAAABE," Cyrus said as he finished. "I'm freaked! I'm the most beautiful?"

"You're the most beautiful, babe," he confirmed. Then he told viewers that she cut his hair and they exchanged I-love-you's before he hung up on her. "He's the only one who's hung up on me first. This is why I'm into this guy. You know? That's what I need."
