Watch: Motorcyclist rides 'Superman-style' at high speed on NSE for 10 minutes

KUALA LUMPUR: A young motorcyclist stunned motorists on the North-South Expressway (NSE) recently when he rode his vehicle ‘Superman-style’ at cruising speed for about ten minutes.

Lying on his stomach with his legs raised high behind him, the amateur stuntman rode his ‘kapchai’ in the express lane, and refused to give way to vehicles honking angrily behind him.

Footage of the incident on Aug 28, near the Simpang Empat exit in the direction of Ayer Keroh, has since gone massively viral, with the original Facebook video garnering a stunning one million views in just two days – and generating a ‘traffic jam’ of angry comments.

According to Says, the video was taken by a passenger in one of the vehicles trailing the daredevil motorcyclist – while the car driver Rajendran’s outraged and bemused commentary can be heard throughout the 48-second clip.

"He doesn’t even bother moving, even after I honked at him!" Rajendran is heard bloviating off-screen, after tracking the wannabe superhero for five minutes.

In a follow-up PSA-style video, Rajendran castigates the knuckleheaded show-off for “risking his life by performing such acts.” (Although, trying to get his skull smashed was probably the knucklehead’s objective).

Netizens reacted to the video with foaming-at-the-mouth tirades against the risk-taker, with many labelling him “societal garbage” and (unfortunately still-) living proof that the universe is going down the drain.
