Schitt's Creek did not start out with a bang. Despite stunning performances from the likes of Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara, the Canadian fish-out-of-water comedy remained criminally under-known for years.
Finally, though, with its sixth and final season, the feel-good show found its place in the pop culture lexicon. Schitt's Creek set a new record at the 2020 Emmys, winning nine trophies—the most ever for a comedy in a single year. That included awards for all four of the show's lead actors (Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Annie Murphy, and Dan Levy), on top of statuettes for best writing, best directing, and overall best series.
So no worries if you're late to the party—we all were. Here's how to watch Schitt's Creek, from start to finish.
The first five seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.
If you're starting at the beginning, a Netflix login should be all you'll need until you finish the fifth season. But if you're looking for the sixth (or aren't a fan of Netflix) there are other options.
All episodes are available on Amazon Prime Video, for a price.
The show's American home, Pop TV, also has every episode ready to stream.
Some episodes (especially the older ones) are currently available to anyone with an internet connection, while newer seasons require users to login with their cable subscription credentials. Find both new and old episodes here.
The CW's newly-launched streaming service CW Seed also has the first five seasons.
The service is ad-supported, and therefore free for users—so if the other options on this list aren't available to you, the little-known CW Seed might be your best bet.
