After a chain of unfortunate circumstances, one bad choice will wreak havoc, resulting in a tragic outcome for everyone at Waterloo Road.
The trailer sees Mr Savage (Jason Manford) smiling confidently as he enters the chaotic school. However, it seems the new headteacher has a mysterious connection to Nicky Walters (Kym Marsh), which she is keen to keep hidden from Donte Charles (Adam Thomas).
The teachers have bigger issues to deal with though, as Sergeant Mike Rutherford (Ryan Clayton) investigates a local crime scene. "It's a bit early to say, but it might not have been an accident," he tells someone on a phone call.

But could this be the actions of the returning classmates or perhaps one of the newcomers?
