If an evening out under the stars sound like a good plan to you, head to Fort Canning Park to catch a movie. This weekend’s line-up features the films Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (Saturday, 13 August) and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Sunday, 14th August).
Make sure to pack a bag full of food, or else grab some food and your tipple of choice from the stalls at the venue.

This Russian production adapts William Shakespearea’s tragedy Hamlet into a one-man show starring Evgeny Mironov. It is also among the first shows of the Singapore International Festival of the Arts.
Mironov will play all the character in the work; all while running, leaping and moving around a suspended open-sided cube and accompanied by stunning light and video projections.

Singapore International Choral Festival (SICF) 2016 Grand Prix Concert
Watch and cheer on top performing choirs from Singapore and beyond as they compete for the top prize of $5,000 and the title of SICF Grand Prix Champion. The night will conclude with a guest performance by South Korea’s Seoul Ladies Singers and the result announcement.

Ground Zero: Run for Humanity 2016
Join this charity race and take on the challenge of running with the weight of a relief pack of non-perishable food.
Participants can run the 5km or 10km route solo or as a group, while families can sign up as parent-child tag teams for the 500m dash. All relief packs will be donated to needy families after the race, so there’s good that you can do just by joining the event.
