The Overwatch Contenders is a chance for all Overwatch teams across the world – both new and old – to prove themselves worthy for the Overwatch League.

The Southeast Asian leg of the tournament, now in its third season, will be streamed later this week.

Notable teams in this Pacific region tournament include Thailand powerhouses Giant Esports and Xavier Esports, Hong Kong group Hong Kong Attitude, and South Korea’s Talon Esports.

If you want to see potential Overwatch League candidates at work, you should tune in to the stream this Thursday.

The Singapore Overwatch community tournament void is being filled with this upcoming 6v6 event.

The only special rule in this tournament is that each team must have at least one Ashe player, hence the title. The female gunslinger is a recent addition to the Overwatch roster, released alongside a McCree short.

Wondering if you’d cut it as a streamer for games? This class is perfect for you if you want to learn basic streaming tactics and skills.

The class teacher, Andrew “Sombrero” Philippou, is a Twitch partner with over two years of experience broadcasting competitive multiplayer games and three years of experience in online tournament production.

You could pick up a few skills and even ask your questions about streaming in a Q&A panel Sombrero will be hosting.

Yes, there is a crazy FPS scene going on in Thailand when it comes to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive high-level play.

The best teams from all around the world will be coming down to Bangkok next week: Tyloo, Heroic, Team Kinguin, TeamOne, AGO Esports, rpo 100, ViCi Gaming, MVP PK, and Alpha Red.

The prize pool for this Toyota series is worth US$100,000 and it’s counted as a major tournament; you can bet there’s a lot at stake here in Southeast Asia.

Want to see the best Vietnamese players duke it out in a friendly game of League of Legends?

Then come on down to the GG eSports Stadium next weekend. VCS league players who will be showing their skills include Zeros, Stark, Archie, BigKoro, and XuHao.

The majority of them are from top tier Vietnam teams like Phong Vu Buffalo, EVOS Esports, and GIGABYTE Marines.

The event is organised by Riot Games and Garena Vietnam.

Singapore’s first major Soulcalibur VI tournament is happening later this weekend courtesy of the SoulSingapore group and retro game hub Versus City. Players from all over the country will compete for bragging rights.
