ONE Esports partners with PGL to bring fans of DOTA 2 a new series of US$500,000 tournaments in Southeast Asia. This particular Indonesian tournament will have 12 of the world’s best teams clash next April.

It was bound to happen - the mobile version of Call of Duty will be getting its own tournament series courtesy of Garena.

Teams from all over Southeast Asia and Taiwan will be competing in various qualifier tournaments for a spot at the invitationals. With a prize pool of US$65,000 and more, we’ll be seeing a lot of people tuning into this.

Check out the invitational tournament schedules below. The first online qualifiers for the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore will be on 8 February for the first two countries and 13 March for the latter.

The winners of each qualifiers will win a huge share of up to SG$13,000.

NBA 2K20 Philippine Qualifiers Finals (The Philippines)

Esports basketball is alive and well in The Philippines, with the NBA 2K20 Asia Tournament’s regional leg coming to a close.

Catch the finalists playing their hearts out for a slot in the main Asia event, but be aware, admission for the tournament is free but limited to 256 spaces on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Garena’s flagship battle royale title is getting a major tournament held in India.

Free Fire India Championship will feature teams fighting it out online to secure the top 24 spots.

The winner of the tournament in the offline portion will win up to US$21,000 from a prize pool of US$50,000.

This PUBG tournament is held by the PUBG Mobile Thailand pro league and features the top battle royale teams in the country.

This leg of the tournament will culminate at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020 Spring which will take place in mid-2020.

The best Overwatch teams in Asia will be fighting against competition from America and Europe in next year’s big Overwatch tournament. The teams are divided into both the Atlantic and Pacific conference for this massive league tournament.

The Wuhan virus situation has already made four Chinese teams make the decision to relocate, the latest being the Shanghai Dragons moving to South Korea temporarily, but the moves hope to allow the teams to continue training with little disruption ahead of the start of the league.
