We’re days away from the biggest esports event of the year, but that doesn’t mean that other, non-TI related events aren’t taking place. And if you’re looking for a place to watch The International 2019, we’ve got you covered too. Plus, the Female Esports League’s League of Legends tournament is still going strong.

FV Cup X Tekken World Tour 2019 (Malaysia)

Malaysia’s prominent fighting game tournament is back for its 2019 iteration. The two-day tournament will feature titles like Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, KOF XIV and KOF ’98, Tekken 7, and Samurai Shodown.
The tournament is also the next stop for the ongoing Tekken World Tour 2019. International pros who will be attending include Talon Book from Thailand (Tekken 7) and Bren Maru from The Philippines (Tekken 7). Stay tuned to the event page for more information.
Registration fee is only RM50, and you can participate in many games as you like.

The biggest fighting game tournament on an international scale is now on its 2019 iteration, with a plethora of games used for competition. These titles include Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Street Fighter V, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Dragon Ball FighterZ, SoulCalibur VI, Mortal Kombat 11, Samurai Shodown, and Under Night: In-Birth Exe: Late[st]/UNIST.
This tournament marks the first time Street Fighter V isn’t the last game in the Grand Finals; it’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Top players from Asia who will be participating include Tokido (SFV), Punk (SFV), Fuudo (SFV), last year’s EVO 2018 SFV champion Problem-X, EVO Japan 2019 Tekken 7 champion Arslan Ash, Knee (Tekken 7), GO1 (Dragon Ball FighterZ), Shen Chan (SoulCalibur VI), Xian (SFV), and way too many players to mention. The final word in Dota 2 tournaments is approaching. The International 2019 will pit the best Dota 2 teams against each other for honour and glory, this being the concluding tournament of the Dota Pro Circuit.

ESL Clash of Nations Bangkok 2019 (Thailand)

ESL will be bringing its Dota 2 Clash of Nations series to an end. Once the five ESL country-specific championships have their teams, they will compete in Bangkok for the lion’s share of the US$50,000 prize pool and the ESL Clash of Nations Dota 2 trophy in Asia.
ESL Malaysia/Singapore/Philippines Championship AOV (Online)
Dates: 28 August and 8 September (Group stage), 21 - 22 September (playoffs)

Supported by Garena and sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Yoodo, the ESL MSP Championship will feature eight of the best AOV teams in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
The teams will compete for a total prize pool of US$10,000 as well as the chance to be the MSP representative at the Arena of Valor International Championship 2019.
Overwatch World Cup 2019 (USA)

The fourth Overwatch World Cup tournament will happen during November. However, the format of competing has now changed. Instead of having country-specific qualifiers to determine the final few teams to fight at BlizzCon, the entire tournament will happen during the week leading up to the company game expo.
Countries will now have to find and select their players from now onwards until 14 July. The selected players and committee members will travel to the live event and receive complimentary access to BlizzCon by 26 July.
