We hope by now it’s not a surprise that 2024 is a Leap Year—and if it is, congratulations, you just found out you get an extra day this month. Because Feb. 29 only happens every four years, you should join us in doing something extra. And what better way to spend our bonus hours than with some free food?

This week, Wendy’s launched its brand new menu partnership with Cinnabon to release the new Cinnabon Pull-Apart. The sweet menu item features Danish dough that’s coated in glaze and baked with cinnamon, brown butter, and sugar before getting topped with Cinnabon’s iconic cream cheese frosting.

The treat is only available during Wendy’s breakfast hours—so to ring in the partnership and celebrate Leap Day, Wendy’s is giving away free breakfast this week.

Wendy's Leap Day 2024 Deals

On Feb. 29, all Wendy’s customers can receive a free Cinnabon Pull-Apart during breakfast hours, which ends at 10:30 a.m. local time. There is no purchase required—and you don’t even have to redeem the offer through the Wendy’s app. However, if you do make a purchase through the Wendy’s app, you’ll rack up some points and score the free Cinnabon Pull-Apart.

The offer is valid once per in-store transaction or per one vehicle at the drive-thru.

If you can’t make it to a Wendy’s restaurant on Feb. 29, that’s okay. Wendy’s is sharing the breakfast love all weekend long.

On March 1, DashPass by DoorDash members can receive up to $15 off their Wendy’s breakfast order. To redeem, you’ll have to add at least $12 worth of breakfast items and at least one Cinnabon Pull-Apart to your cart, and then the $15 credit will automatically be applied to the order.

And, finally, from March 2 through 10, DashPass by DoorDash members can get a free Cinnabon Pull-Apart with any $12 Wendy’s breakfast order. Again, simply add at least $12 worth of Wendy’s breakfast items—like the Frosty Cream Cold Brew or breakfast burrito—to your cart. Then add a Cinnabon Pull-Apart, and DoorDash will automatically subtract the bakery item from your order total.

More Leap Day Deals

If you’re on the hunt for more Leap Day deals, you’re in luck. We know Krispy Kreme is offering $2.29 dozens with the purchase of any regularly priced dozen on Thursday—but you can also score free and discounted food at more of our favorite fast food restaurants.

Taco Bell is selling its Crunchwrap for $2.29 when you order via its app. Noodles & Company will give its rewards members 29% off any order of $29 or more. And 7-Eleven is offering five wings for $2.29.

On the free side, Chipotle is honoring the extra day by saying guac is not extra. Rewards members can get a free side of guac by using the code “EXTRA24.” Lastly, Insomnia Cookies is giving away one free Classic cookie with the purchase of any six- or 12-packs now through March 3.

If anyone needs us on Feb. 29, you can find us at the drive-thru. Which one? Every one that’s offering free food, of course.
