Netflix knows what it's doing when it comes to crime dramas. The streaming platform is home to some of the most gripping shows around - both factual and fictional - including the latest offering on everyone's lips: Turkish drama, Who Were We Running From?
ICYMI, the series follows a mother-daughter duo on the run, who are trying to escape from their painful past. While each episode is completely captivating, viewers were left stunned by the dramatic scenes that played out in the season finale, and naturally, were left with plenty of questions about what's next for lead character, Bambi.

What happened in Who Were We Running From?
The beginning of the show introduces us to Bambi and her unnamed mum who live as fugitives due to her mother's past. (Which is all revealed throughout the seven episodes.)
Skipping from hotel to hotel, the pair trust no one and are suspicious of almost everyone and anyone they meet. They even refuse to let hotel staff come into their room.
Of course, this wariness - combined with the mother's Morticia Addams aesthetic and dressing Bambi like a young girl despite being a teenager - often attracts the attention of other guests.
Over the course of the eps, it's made clear that the mother and daughter are running from the mum's wealthy, aristocratic family who did not approve of her having Bambi with the car mechanic who worked for them.
The mother's family want to get rid of Bambi
Further along into the series, it's revealed that Bambi's mother is protecting her from her family, whose aim is to get rid of their granddaughter.
What unfolds is a series of murders committed by the mother, including the attempted murder of her parents.
Do Bambi and her mother escape?
Fast forward to the final episode, and Bambi and her mother seem to have escaped to a "paradise hotel."
All is not well though, as Bambi is abused by the resident doctor while alone in the hotel while her mother is out.
Upon finding out, the mother takes revenge on the doctor. After the police also find the hotel manager murdered, they become suspicious and start to pursue the pair.
What follows is another swift relocation, this time to a remote Greek island only to be found by Bambi's grandfather.
In a fit of rage, Bambi's mother attempts to kill her father, only for her daughter to swoop in moments later and fatally stab him.
Meanwhile, the police are getting closer to finding the two, so Bambi's mother tells her to run and never look back.
Bambi's mum is then shot dead, leaving the young teenager alone in the world with nowhere to go.
The final moments show Bambi escaping with the money the pair stole, leaving many viewers with their heads in hands about what the future holds for the young fugitive.
So. Many. Questions. Here's hoping Netflix give a second season the green light so we can actually find out what happens to Bambi...
