Western Railway installs face recognition cameras at Mumbai stations

Mumbai, Oct 01 (ANI): Face recognition camera is the new digital eye on the Western Railway network in Mumbai. Western Railway has installed 2,729 Cameras with 4K resolution at 30 stations of Mumbai Local Train network from Virar to Churchgate. These CCTV cameras aim to enhance security at the stations. Out of these 2,729 cameras, 450 cameras will have the feature of face recognition and it will help detect criminals and send an alert to the concerned agency. All cameras are high definition and can rotate 360 degrees.
