Celebrity MasterChef is back in the kitchen this week as the reality series returns to BBC One.

There's also a new sitcom, Marriage, starring Sean Bean and Nicola Walker to look out for, as well as the start of Douglas Henshall's final run in Shetland.

Rev Richard Coles and Tom Daley both take on weighty subjects for week night documentaries, while 90s classic A League of Their Own gets a TV spin-off.

Priest, broadcaster and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Rev Richard Coles lost his partner David to alcoholism in 2019, and this documentary sees him explore how to deal with grief.

This includes going on a "grief cruise" as he meets others dealing with their own losses and shares what he's learned.

Tom Daley: Illegal To Be Me - BBC One - Tuesday, 9pm

While viewers might have been enjoying the feats of athletic achievement featured in the Commonwealth Games this summer, diver Tom Daley is exploring the shocking truth that it's illegal to be gay in more than half the nations eligible to take part.

He meets his fellow sports people fighting for change across the Commonwealth and reflects on his own experiences of feeling unsafe because of homophobic attitudes while travelling for competitions.

The cooking contest is back in the kitchen, this time in celebrity form.

Opening week's double bill of episodes include Nancy Dell'Olio, Paul Chuckle and Danny Jones amongst those taking on the first heats challenges.

The three best will cook in Friday's quarter-final, with two making it to the semi-final.
