If you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan, then you're well aware of the pomp and circumstance surrounding Red Friday. A way to sport your best Chiefs red in the run-up to the team's home game that weekend, this year is extra special because it marks the 30th anniversary of the beloved tradition.

Red Friday is also an excuse to upgrade your outdoor decor with a brand new flag to commemorate the 102nd year of the NFL. As per usual, the Chiefs are selling official Red Friday flags and proceeds are going to a great cause: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHCKC).
According to chiefs.com, Red Friday has raised more than $2.8 million for the nonprofit in the last eight years. Last season, generous Chiefs supporters raised a record-breaking $1 million. Through Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season, the team's official Twitter account revealed they've raised more than $900,000 for the RMHCKC.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City works to keep families with sick children close to each other and provide any resources they might need during the treatment process. They boast three Houses adjacent to Children’s Mercy Hospital and Ronald McDonald Family Room, but they work with all pediatric hospitals in the Kansas City area.
Starting at $10 online, you can purchase your own Red Friday flag at the official Chiefs fan shop. If you're in the City of Fountains, head to participating McDonalds and snag one for a $5 donation. We linked all four sizes below.
