Family found after Whistler RCMP report unaccompanied child

RCMP in Whistler, B.C., say the family of a child who was reportedly unaccompanied Saturday night has been found.

Police say they received reports of the unaccompanied boy, who was barefoot, just past 10 p.m. PT on Saturday night.

They said they were seeking public assistance in locating the child's family in a Sunday morning statement.

Later on Sunday morning, police said that the boy's family had been located and they were reuniting with him.
