Whoopi Goldberg set to produce crime drama with Bravo
With her term on "The View" coming to a close, Whoopi Goldberg has set her sights on a new project set in Harlem that centers on a crime boss who is reunited with her eldest son whom she thought was dead.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Goldberg is set to executive produce the modern-day drama, and is also in talks to star as the crime boss.
The story picks up when her son returns from the dead after faking his own death as a teenager, to run for New York mayor.
Goldberg's contract as moderator with daytime talk show "The View" expires at the end of the season.
The project is being developed with Bravo.
