This is the reason why Kapamilya heartthrob Coco Martin supposedly refuses to campaign for a candidate running under the administration’s Team PNoy in their out of town rallies.

Team PNoy spokesperson Federico Romero “Miro” Quimbo admits they are having a hard time getting Martin to personally campaign for Aurora Rep. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara.
“We can’t get Coco Martin anymore. His manager says he gets insecure in the presence of Sonny Angara,” Quimbo quipped.
“Because the crowd can’t tell which of them is Juan de la Cruz,” he said in jest.
Martin, who stars in primetime TV series Juan de la Cruz in ABS-CBN, has earlier endorsed the candidacy of Angara, the son of Senator Edgardo Angara who is running under the administration’s slate.
Denying he was paid to endorse the three-term congressman, Martin himself said he believes the candidate’s advocacies for education, health, employment and senior citizens.
Angara, who has been placing last in the winning circle in recent senatorial surveys like Pulse Asia and Social Weather Stations, admitted getting Martin to join him on stage may give his candidacy a boost.

“It’s not a must-do, but we may consider it, if he’s available. But it’s really very hard to schedule with these celebrities,” Angara said.
Aside from Martin, ABS-CBN talents Sarah Geronimo and Julia Montes are also helping out Angara in his bid for the Senate.
The three Kapamilya talents have already appeared in Angara's television ads.
