The dance to Charli xcx's "Apple" has gone viral all over social media — and these celebs have jumped in on the fun

The Internet can't get enough of Charli xcx's "Apple!"

The song, featured on the pop star's latest album Brat, has gone viral on social media — and for good reason. In June, TikTok creator Kelley Heyer created a dance to the song that has found its way into all corners of the Internet.

"1 month ago I made a dance on a whim and now look at everyone dancing and along and having so much fun," Heyer wrote on TikTok on July 14 in a video that has now been viewed more than 1 million times.

Now, celebrities have caught on and everyone from the Team USA Women's Rugby team to Brooke Shields has declared summer 2024 a totally Brat summer. Here, see their takes on the viral moves.

The Team USA Women's Rugby Team

On the tail of Team USA women’s rugby sevens first-ever medal, taking home the bronze following their game on July 30, Hoda Kotb had the team take part in the trend as a celebratory dance of sorts.

In a video shared to Instagram on July 31, the team is seen sporting their brand new medals while dancing to the song in-sync.

Kerry Washington

After Charli declared that "kamala IS brat" through a post shared to X, formally known as Twitter, Kerry Washington showed off her version of the dance along with the message " if Kamala is BRAT, I’m BRAT."

Eva Longoria

In coordinated teeny-tiny bikinis, Eva Longoria and her pal Elsa Collins stitched a video from a jewelry brand and showed off their best dance moves.

The Flamin’ Hot director also took the chance to share her support for VP Harris, writing, “Latina BRATS for Kamala."

Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones & Anthony Ramos

While Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos hit the road to promote their new movie, Twisters, Edgar-Jones jumped on the trend with her costars in a video shared to Instagram.

"Caught the lads up on Brat summer 🍏@charli_xcx @twistersmovie," she wrote alongside the clip of the actors dancing.

Powell chimed in in the comment section admitting, "Hard to remember my life before this dance. Thank you, Daisy."

Charli herself caught the post and commented “ABSOLUTELY !!”

Brooke Shields

Multi-hyphenate Brooke Shields jumped on the trend while making a cheeky comment about her two daughters, Rowan and Grier Henchy.

"My girls keep telling me it’s a brat summer 🤷‍♀️😬 @charli_xcx," Shields wrote alongside the clip of herself doing the dance. "I thought that started when they were born!"

Ashley Tisdale

Pregnant Ashley Tisdale jumped on TikTok to share a video while showing off her growing baby bump.

"I may be pregnant but im still having a brat summer," she wrote.

Alix Earle, Jake Shane & Friends

TikTok superstar Alix Earle was joined by her friends and family — including sister Ashtin Earle (and rumored beau John Summit) and pal Jake Shane — to take part in the trend while "waiting for our Taquitos."

Stephen Colbert

After breaking down the weekend's rollercoaster political news in his Monday monologue, Stephen Colbert then took some time to break down something even more critical to the nation: Why it's good to be brat (he credited one of his staffers for explaining it to him). He then demonstrated his mastery of the concept by doing the "Apple" dance to cheers from the audience.

Lisa Rinna & Harry Hamlin

Newly blonde Lisa Rinna got in on the fun with her longtime husband Harry Hamlin in a video shared to TikTok. In the clip posted on the Fourth of July, Rinna is seen sporting a bucket hat over her platinum locks while Hamlin sports a polo.

Joe Jonas

While performing in Quebec earlier in July with his brothers, Joe Jonas did his own little rendition of the dance while his brother Nick sang his solo in their song "Leave Before You Love Me."

Behati Prinsloo

Joined by pals Heather Marks, Kanoa Goo and Taylor James (on slide 8 of her summer photo dump), model Behati Prinsloo showed that having a Brat Summer is even sweeter in a stunning location.

Cody Rigsby

Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby donned his "Brat green" sunglasses (and drew on his professional dance background) to nail his version of the dance.

Jessica Alba

Sporting a bikini and a cover-up, it looked like Jessica Alba couldn't resist jumping on the trend when she posted a video of her rendition to TikTok.

"Heard it’s a #brat summer," she wrote alongside the video.

Jake Borelli

Jake Borelli used the trend to help share that his character, Levi, would be returning to Grey's Anatomy for season 21. In a video shared to his TikTok, Borelli showed off his moves while in character in his light blue scrubs.

Cara Delevingne & Friends

Cara Delevingne shared a star-studded video with famous pals as they all showed off their best "Apple" dance. Though not directly identified, it appears her friends include Sienna Miller, her boyfriend Oli Green and playwright Jeremy O. Harris.

Dave & Harper Grohl

A sweet — and silly — father-daughter moment captured on video showed that even Dave Grohl is tapped into Brat summer. While his daughter danced beside him, the Foo Fighters frontman gave his best "Apple" dance from his seat at a table.

Charli xcx & Troye Sivan

And of course, the "Apple" roundup would not be complete with including Charli xcx herself. She shared a video dancing alongside tourmate Troye Sivan and photographer Terrence O'Connor back in June.

“epic choreo moment incoming on sweat tour !” she captioned post, referencing the duo's co-headlining tour.

Charli has the video pinned to her profile and it has been seen more than 7 million times to date. After initially posting, the singer commented below, making sure to shoutout Heyer's original dance.

"dc: @Kelley Heyer (sry we forgot to tag i havent done a tiktok dance in forever !)," she wrote.
