‘Wicked’ Dances Into Top 10 Titles Consumers Are Most Excited

“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” remains No. 1 for the eighth week in a row and has grossed an impressive $434 million at the box office worldwide. “NFL Football” moves up two spots, reclaiming the No. 2 position, while “Deadpool & Wolverine” dips one spot to No. 3. With less than a month until its Season 5 Part 2 premiere, “Yellowstone” jumps back onto the list at No. 4. and Paramount Pictures’ “Smile 2” moves into the Top 5 during its opening week.
Universal Pictures’ “Wicked,” which releases in theaters on Nov. 22, debuts at No. 6. The film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the latter of whom just hosted “SNL” to massive ratings. “MLB Playoffs/World Series” swings onto the list at No. 7 just ahead of the World Series games, beginning this Friday. “Venom: The Last Dance,” opening this Friday, rises two spots to No. 8 while “Joker: Folie à Deux” dips to No. 9. Max’s “The Penguin” returns to the list mid-season at No. 10.
