The wife of former Hong Kong leader Leung Chun-ying escaped unhurt after a three-vehicle collision in Kwun Tong on Wednesday afternoon.
Regina Leung Tong Ching-yee was the only passenger in a seven-seater government vehicle when it was hit from behind around 3.20pm.
According to police, the car was stopped at traffic lights on Lei Yue Mun Road, waiting to turn into Wai Fat Road, with a delivery van and a Mercedes-Benz, driven by a 63-year-old man, behind it.

“An initial investigation showed the driver of the car at the back released the brake pedal and it moved forward and rammed into the delivery van, which then hit the back of the government car,” a police spokesman said.
Regina Leung initially complained of feeling dizzy, but did not require hospital treatment. Her 48-year-old driver, and the drivers of the Mercedes-Benz, and delivery van, were all unhurt.
