Wilson Lam supports daughter's career choice
3 Aug - Former '80s star Wilson Lam has denied rumours saying that he has threatened to cut his financial assistance to daughter Denice after she decided to join the entertainment industry.
As reported by Mingpao, it was previously rumoured that the actor was unhappy with his oldest daughter's choice to become a model and actress, and hoped that she would reconsider her decision.
When Denice decided to sign with modeling agency Style instead, Wilson reportedly threatened the aspiring model that he will cut all financial assistance.
However, when asked to address the rumours recently, the 54-year-old denied it, and stressed that he is supportive of his daughter's choice.
"She is a smart girl, I believe she can bear the pressure of becoming a celebrity and making it on her own," said Wilson.
