KOTA BARU: Pas hits out at Rafizi Ramli today, telling him to win the PKR deputy president's post before talking about taking over Kelantan and Terengganu.
Its vice president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said Rafizi, who is currently PKR vice-president, should not have made such statement against Kelantan Pas.
The Kelantan deputy menteri besar said as a leader, Rafizi should first focus on solving his own party's internal problem before dreaming about taking over Kelantan and Terengganu in the next general election.
“I feel that as a candidate for PKR deputy president, Rafizi should win the party election first before issuing such statement.
“When he has won the post, then he can say whatever he likes,” he told reporters when met at his office here today.
Mohd Amar was asked to comment on Rafizi’s statement recently that the "good relationship" forged between Umno and Pas has opened up a space for Pakatan Harapan to win Kelantan and Terengganu in the 15th General Election.
Rafizi pointed out that the co-operation between Umno and Pas would spur a change in voters' pattern in the two east coast states. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
